Brown Cottage, nestled amongst bushland and close to Lowlands Beach, is the ideal place to relax on the south coast. Imagine being woken in the morning by a magpie's song rather than the noises of humanity, and looking out on trees and sky, not roads, powerlines and endless buildings.

Built in 1996 as accommodation for holidaying family and friends, Brown Cottage is cosy and comfortable, with two wide verandahs giving views eastwards to West Cape Howe and northwards over natural bushland. It is located about midway between Albany and Denmark off the scenic Lower Denmark Road.

The cottage is self-contained so if you want to you can just put your feet up and enjoy the surroundings. But there is no shortage of things to do and see in the area - Springhaven supports a varying collection of domestic animals and an organic garden, and the surrounding area has national parks, beaches, wineries, craft galleries and lots more.
